Originally from New York, I ended up in South Bend in 1972 when my father became chair of the Music Department at Notre Dame. I graduated from ND, worked for IBM in Chicago, and then married a Notre Dame graduate. We started a family shortly thereafter, and we have four wonderful children. I volunteered at the various schools my children attended and also volunteered in the South Bend community for the past eleven years. I recently joined the staff at the First Year of Studies, where I enjoy working with the rest of the staff and the students at Notre Dame.
